When you people add content, do you add it to the "Intro Text" box at the top or the lower "Main Text" box?
I add it to the Main Text box on the basis it is really the main text I add a line of intro text because it is required, but switch it off from displaying.
I want to leave the option of adding real intro text at some point; and it seems logical.
But does this have any future compatibility issues for Joomla 1.5 and later?
It's probably just a habit, but I just use the 'Intro Text'. If I have a long article, I use the 'Intro Text' for a few lines and put the rest of the text in 'Main Text'.

It has always been a habit with me as well.
But with my latest site I thought I would do it properly.
I also have a mod in mind; I would like to list the intro text with a Category listing, so instead of just listing the links, it lists the links and a few lines of summary to let people know what the links are. It also makes for good SEO doing it that way.
I always put content in the intro box; after all, Joomla itself tags the main part as "optional"...plus there's a lot of extra scrolling to do to get down to the main text
At the end of the day, I think it actually makes no difference really, it's all down to personal preference - there's certainly no 'right way' and 'wrong way' to do it.
I just stick everything into the intro box - it only became a problem when i was playing with the rotating news module - lets say my frontpage turned into a bungee rope
Yeah I very much doubt they'd alter something as fundamental as that...
as far as i know joomla 1.5 has only one box, and you user a divider, sort of like a page break, instead of having two completely different text areas.

Hmmm.. I wonder how the upgrade process will handle that? Now I assume they use separate columns whereas 1.5 will use one.
