trouble embedding flash slideshow

On my old 1.0.X site I had a flash slideshow embedded into one of my pages. I can't figure out how to do it now and I've tried just about everything I can think of. This probably a Joomla issue, but I've had no luck posting this on their forum.
I went in and expended the tinymce program to the extended version so it show the embed multimedia file. I select flash and then proceed to enter the url for the flash show. It never loads. when i type the url into my url box in firefox it loads fine!!!! I also downloaded a new editor called JCE.
Here's an example of one of the shows I'm trying to embed into one of my pages:
www.montyrand.com/video/Fogler/
the link should be:
www.montyrand.com/video/Fogler/showit.swf
Any ideas why the flash show isn't showing up?
