    • Im not getting replies from Joomlapack forum or finding answers to this in Google

      I have started to upload a site backup I did with Jpack, I am uploading to a new clean server and have uploaded all files etc from my extracted backup file to HTTPDOCS, all permissions set to 777

      I open the site as guided in Joomlapack install guide (Im using JPack4)

      I get to stage 2 (Database restor) - input my newly created database info (I created a new database on the new server) and I get the following message

      Could not open database dump file joomla.sql

      I have no idea what to do here, can anyone help me please

    • Have you tried using the JoomlaPack file called kickstart.php to install your new site? I've used it a number of times, and it has set up the database for me with no problems. All the instructions are on the JoomlaPack site.

      The reason that I use the kickstart.php method is that I am not confident about setting up a database manually. :oops:
