    • Here at work, Verizon Online offers an online backup solution (you don't need to be a subscriber to their ISP). The fee is based upon how much storage space/web space you have. The reasoning behind this is that Verizon makes Enterprise level safety and security available to the individual or small business. They have almost $1,000,000 in backup and encryption equipment involved. Also, you can upload files to the online storage section and the go anywhere in the world that has an Internet connection and retrieve your files - or have a partner retrieve files. It's all encrypted. I'd see if Carbonite offers these features.
