Looking for some advice from the community

    • Hey fellas!! First of all, thanks to those who have helped me, and a special thanks to surelurksalot for the help with the betougher.com PNG issue... Does anyone have some ideas regarding how to attract traffic to the site? I'm getting a TON of itunes podcast traffic, but not so much on the actual site... making money online is a pain in the arse!! hehe

Ok here's my real inquiry, I am putting up a site for myself for once, it's going to have my writings, portions of my book, artwork, a place where i put my project cars, political and social views, maybe a vCast, etc... Basically I am trying to deconstruct my fleeting mind, and all of its contents, and put it online... I'll instruct on meditatiion, transcendental metaphysical stuff, and pretty much whatever, more or less a free-for-all but allows for community interaction and discussion spawning...

What do you think the best way to present this ADD in a bottle website? I want it to be fun, informative, and I want it to transcend all standard rhymes and reasons of typical sites of this nature... Basically capture my essence in a website... Fun, serious, provocative, artistic, sanity and lack thereof, etc...

I would probably need a forum, interactive blog, gallery, media plugin for my music, etc... Thanks guys

    • Hi Robert,

Do a search and you'll find plenty. This is has been one of the major ones discussed. A lot of people want to know the same thing. You may not get a lot of a response because the current folks are just 'talked out' about this issue.

      Good luck, man!

    • Your website should be made for the user, not the search engine. Nothing beats quality content for attracting and keeping users - traffic. But knowing how to optimize the user content for search engines helps. Your SEO score of 83% is really good, but your Alexa rank is 6,000,000.

First I would suggest searching around for some wordtracker tutorials, then possibly use the service. wordtracker.com . Find out the keywords used by people in your target market and adjust your content accordingly.

Work on incoming links, I found 36 to your site. Most of them had little relevance. Work on some link strategies. Those would be in the articles below.

    • Something i forgot to mention.

Never NEVER buy anything for SEO. Don't buy links, tools, generators, anything. Never use an SEO service or tool that costs anything. 99.999% of the time anything you buy will do more harm than good.

The best and ONLY seo that works is having high quality content.

legitimate backlinks from sites with good pagerank work quite well.
