    • Anyone know how to remove joomlaboard? I installed 1.1.5 and it kept the 1.1.4 databases, and looks like crap now on my site check it out www.betougher.com click on community... barf.

i had hoped to successfully integrate community builder, joomlaboard, and virtuemart but i cant manage to do it well, so i want to rip it all out and start over, and joomlaboard is stubborn, and looks like poop.

anyone a resident expert on this one? thanks

      Rob

    • Nice smilies =)

Yes, uninstalled the component, but it seems to keep the databases because when i reinstall the new version, it says it is still 1.1.4 and the same errors occur, i would like to wipe it clean out and do a fresh install.

    • Like most other components, when you uninstall the Joomlaboard component it leaves the data behind. This is done so that it is easier to upgrade to new versions as they are released. I haven't done a Joomlaboard uninstall yet so I don't know the procedure for removing the associated data.

    • You will have to find and remove the tables from the database.

I actually reccomend the older version of Joomlaboard. 1.1.3 was more stable than 1.1.5 I have found. and it looks better. ;D

    • You can find it within the tables as it has sb in the name...i cannot remember the exact names as i deleted it months ago. but it should be something like this jos_sb_smilies etc.... and remove all the sb tables.

      Make sure to backup first

Yes, 1.1.3 is a lot more stable.

You need to 'DROP' a few Joomlaboard tables in the database. Also, do a search (same name as Joomlaboard tables) of all the other tables and delete the reference.
