Will the Afterburner template be upgraded to support Joomla 1.6?

You'll have to wait until J1.6 is stable, after that, the team will start to go through the templates and make them compatible.
I am sure that the team will convert some of the GPL templates to J1.6, (though I am sure the commercial templates will take priority) but at this point, there is no time line, nor can you expect one until a stable release.

long time member of Rockettheme is having afterburner withdrawals, need for joomla 1.6, need date to live, i must check that link three times a day to see any change... anyway can you give me a date your at least shooting for? is it 1 week away, or 10 months?
willing to pay to make higher priority, help... is it me, or do all joomla custom code sites, dont like to give dates, even if you slip, as long as you communciate that, its ok... having no date is like saying you'll get paid, but we dont know when... its so painfull to swallow that...
need something to shoot for... just as we are your customer, we have customers that ask us when it will be done, and if i dont give them a date, i lose the business.. you have to give us at least some sort of schedule... something... not sure why i am posting, just venting, i know your not going to give me a date, or some sort of bone to chew on...
man, i wish i can run my business like that...
and yes, my customer did need features in J1.6, cause i know everyone always followsup with, well you can alwasy go with J1.5, you'll probably delete this post anyway... sorry Rockettheme, you make great templates, and i know you guys are hard at work converting them... not knocking that at all.. just need some sort of schedule...
Cool feature to add to your site would be USERVOICE, of some sort, to show case what templates everyone wants converted, or what type of new templates to build... that would be cool...
