Missing menu in Joomla version 2.5.3

I have with success used Joomla 1.5.25 and the afterburner template.
Unfortunately I am not able to see menus with the new Joomla version 2.5.3 and the newest afterburner template from 24th of february 2012? it does not show the menus.
See below example
Joomla version 1.5.25 and afterburner J15

Looks like you didn't use the Rocketlauncher's demo data.
Did you forget to click on the Install sample data button? - Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.
A template is only as good as the content that goes into it

I have done the below steps for both tmp1 and tmp2
Install new Joomla on empty site with demo data
Install rt_afterburner template
Make rt_afterburner as default
Just did it again wiht a new tmp3 site
Joomla version 2.5.3 and afterburner J25
roebel.homeip.net/~tmp3/
Does not show menu in demo data
Perhaps I am not following the right install procedure?

hi there,
i believe the default positions for the menu in joomla 1.5 and 2.5 are not the same.
please go to your module manager and make sure that the menus are assigned to a module position that does exist in afterburner, otherwise the menu won't display.
