Is your home page checked for that template? Is it the default template? What is the status of the template you are trying to add your Google Analytic ID to?

Same problem here and clearing the cache solved it.
In Administrator backend: Site > Maintenance > Clear Cache.
Note that "UA Code" is not the whole JS block from google, just the bit starting with UA-

I'm having very similar problems with Radiance Template. I've create the analytics account and plugged in the UA code and it shows up in the source code when viewing the site homepage. My default page is referencing index.php and not index.html. Not sure if that would have anything to do with it. Regardless, when I test out the installation on the Analytics page, it still shows it is not installed. The site is
