SOLVED Quasar template - Can't Add GOOGLE Analytics

I'm trying to add in my google analytics code to my Quasar template - but when i turn it on - the box won't let me add any thing to it..
I'm using joomla 2.5.6
Quasar 1.0
Gantry 4.0.3

Google has been making many changes, including changes to their tracking code. Please see this thread.

The Gantry4 and Analytics option is functioning properly for us here.
Which template are you trying to make your entry? Is it your default template? Check your assignments for your home page.

i'm using "Quasar 1.0"
Gantry 4.0.3
I'm using joomla 2.5.6
Not sure why the template has Google Anylitics in the Gantry for a spot for it then?
I can turn it ON - but the filed is grayed out..

- Is your home page checked for that template? Is it the default template? What is the status of the template you are trying to add your Google Analytic ID to?

for some really strange reason i went back to the template and went to the Google Anyltics tab - and it WASN"T grayed out any more the input box..
It just now let me put it in there without doing anything to it.. VERY VERY ODD>.
yes my home page was checked for this template..
yes its the defafualt template

Hmm. Maybe it was the cache and it needed to be refreshed before it kicked in. Just a guess...
So, am I to assume the issue is resolved? If so, please add [Solved] to the front of your first post title, and select the green check icon.

Same problem here and clearing the cache solved it.
In Administrator backend: Site > Maintenance > Clear Cache.
Note that "UA Code" is not the whole JS block from google, just the bit starting with UA-
Example: UA-94450345-1
gantry fills in the necessary javascript around this.

I'm having very similar problems with Radiance Template. I've create the analytics account and plugged in the UA code and it shows up in the source code when viewing the site homepage. My default page is referencing index.php and not index.html. Not sure if that would have anything to do with it. Regardless, when I test out the installation on the Analytics page, it still shows it is not installed. The site is

Your index page is index.php when it is a joomla site. I can see the following code in the header:
UA-35998829-1.
Are you entering your code in the template "by hand" or are you using the insert box in the template?
