    Afterburner 2

Posted 12 years 5 days ago
    • Hi Rockettheme,

Firstly thank you for an excellent template.

My question was whether mootools is required by afterburner2 on the front end? or can we disable it without affecting the template.

By default afterburner2 loads following javascripts:

      /media/system/js/mootools-core.js
      /media/system/js/core.js
      /media/system/js/caption.js
      /media/system/js/mootools-more.js

which of the above we can disable? as i understand mootols is only needed in admin side. This will help reduce the page size further.

      regards

    • Just found out that browser-engines.js throws up errors if mootols is not loaded

Error: ReferenceError: Browser is not defined
      Source File: .../libraries/gantry/js/browser-engines.js
      Line: 6

I used Mootools Enabler/Disabler plugin to disable mootools.

      any workarounds on this?

    • I am using this template for an upcoming newsroom site we're building. However, The main text color on the template is a kind of light grey color. How can I change this to being simply black? I don't see this referenced in the CSS anywhere.

      Please help :)
