  • Roksprocket & Falang - Does it Work?

    • I have a site that uses a number of sprockets. We are starting to use Falang to add German and Japanese to our website.

      I sort of expect the "simple" content to be a problem, so moving those over to full Joomla articles is expected. But I am wondering if sprockets will load the correct articles based on article language. Does anyone know?

    • I'm not sure how Falang works... RS works with a normal Joomla Multi-language site though... Joomla has pretty decent language support out of the box...

      If you don't know how it works then you should check it out. I was pretty impressed with the 1.x version and the newer version is wonderful. I read through the link you sent me and while that's workable it is not nearly as good as Falang for handling translation (ie the Joomla system doesn't do a good job for a multi-user environment where a translator is working directly with the website).

      Falang is a descendant of Joomfish. Here is the article at JED:
