on your article create page, do you see errors in console?
----go to your browsers tools > developer tools > and toggle to the Console pane
If you turn error reporting to maximum in the global config, do you see any errors on the article create page?
Definitely post any errors you find in either of those places on your joomla forum thread... you can post em here too but they may be greek to me

thank you for posting your solution as well, it may just help another member someday.
If a thread is solved please edit your *original/first* post and place "[SOLVED]" (no quotes; but you do need the brackets) at the beginning of your post title. Changing the post icon to the Solved Checkmark is helpful too.
