Quasar Template - showcase section content

Posted 15 years 2 months ago
    • I have figured out most of this template except for the two showcase module positions

I am trying to duplicate the showcase position where it displays "Powerfull, New and Feature Rich:Gantry 2.0"

I would like to know how the formatting of the font is done in this position and also if it is in the Showcase A module position ? ( I don't know why i cant get this)

Is there someone that can help me on this please ?
      thanks

    • Hi,

this may point you in the right direction, I put it in showcase-a:

      <span class="showcase-title">"Powerful, New and <span>Feature Rich</span>: Gantry 2.0."</span>

    • Sorry to resurrect a dead thread but...
I need help adding content to these positions. This is my first Joomla install and my first template.

I dont understand how to get the articles like in the demo into those positions. Should I install something. I tried using articles but it wont let me select the position I want the article to show up in.

I want my frontpage to look exactly like the demo of quasar but my articles only show up in the mainbody. How do I get them to show up in any position please! I been trying to figure it out for days now.

    • Joomla does not publish articles in modules or module positions on it's own.. It's article structure is different to the way modules work.. have a read through the Joomla documentation:

      docs.joomla.org/

However you can use other kinds of modules to display your articles.. take a look at this:

      www.rockettheme.com/extensions-joomla/roktabs

It is very configurable so if you only want one article to show up you can do so or a few articles with tabs or slideshow like effects.

      Good luck!
