No permissions - Very frustrated

  • No permissions - Very frustrated

    • Love the templates and love being a member/paying for the use of the templates ( club ) but I have to admit, I have never been so frustrated with the amount of work it takes to complete simple tasks. First image issues - day and half piddling with this - then now trying to change the default logo.

      I don't have any permissions to try to change them. I try to change the style2.css for Quasar logo path to my own, and receive no permission notices.

      What is going on? How do I change the default image when I can't apply 777 permissions?

      <frustrated> I've wasted so much time on this stuff :-(

    • How are you changing in file permission?

      This is something relative to your hosting if you are unable to change permissions

      Check in for directory ownership with them and please ensure to have suphp installed
    • Quick tips::
      1) Clear your browser cache if changes dont reflect
      2) Provide link to your site to help us help you better
      3) Use in firebug

    • Hi there,

      I just purchased a brand new dedicated server so I have them looking into this for me now - I couldn't see anything that stood out so they are checking for me now and if suPHP is not installed they will do so. I'll update once I know what the problem is for others who may encounter the same issue.
