quasar template menu probelm

Hi, im using quasar template downloaded from your web with granty ( package for joomla 1.5 )
if i click in any menu to customize my template, the drop down menu to choose from, its shown right below the following menu.
EX:
when click in logo position, the drop down menu its shown right below date position.
this makes the selection almost impossible,

i was using explorer, and just downloades firefox, and it works ok,
anything to do to make it work under explorer? or you recogn i just use another broswer
