  • 2 Menus -> 1 Mobile Menu?

    • Hey guys,
      Is it possible to have 2 menus (a primary and secondary menu on the desktop site) to combine into either 2 mobile menus are one extended mobile menu?
      Within the Gantry 5 editor, I set both menus to be mobile targets and added 2 mobile menu particles however, I seem to be only have to get one mobile menu working at a time.
      Any solutions? Thanks.

    • You can only have one menu as the target for the mobile menu (only one will ever show).

      But, you can publish your own menu to the "offcanvas" section. Create a position in the offcanvas section that you can use. The create a joomla menu module with module class suffix " visible-phone" and publish that to the position that you have created. Now when you see the mobile menu hamburger button add click on it it will show the normal mobile menu (for your target menu) and also your joomla menu module for the other menu (it will be styled differently though).

      I understand what you're saying however, I need this menu to display in the Navigation section on desktop and then in the Offcanvas section on mobile. If I undestand you correctly, I need two seperate secondary menus and one will only be visible on the phone. Is it possible that I can duplicate the secondary menu so that when viewed on the phone it will "move" to the hamburg menu, instead of having two seperate menus? Sorry if this seems confusing.

    • Your will need two copies of the menu module (one for each position) then give one a module class suffix of "visible-phone" and the other a module class suffix of "hidden-phone".
