    No CSS beyond front page? HELP!

    • Hi all, really appreciate if anyone can help me out...

      For some reasons, our Church's website running Rokettheme is having some issues with the content layout...

      the front page would load up alright, but any subsequent pages would load up without the CSS...

      it seems to have problem fetching CSS from the Theme.. and I've tried it with other themes as well.. the default Purity would work fine, but any of the rockettheme themes I tried would give CSS less layout...

    • Hi Roy,

      It looks like the problem is possibly connected to the SEF. Are you using a component or just the Joomla standard SEF via htaccess?

      Try turning SEF off and see if that fixes it. At least we then have a chance of finding the cause.

    • I am running sh404SEF plug-in..

      would that be what is causing the problem??

      i disabled SEF from global config, but i can see the URL are still SEF...

      should i disable sh404SEF altogether?

      For the moment, yes - disable it and purge the cache when requested.

      At least if we get the template working we can then look at why your sh404SEF is messing things up.

      I have just disabled it, and now it seems to be functioning prefectly minus the SEF..

      But for future references, is there a particular reason why sh404SEF didn't work? or do we have to configure it to make it function properly?

      sh404SEF needs to be configured correctly, especially if you use the .htaccess option. You can find more information here - sh404SEF FAQs .
