YES! Don't buy either of them! There hasn't been any development on either of them in a long time and there probably wont be any ever again. Azrul gave up on them and didn't bother to tell anyone. Search the web for more information on both products and the problems people have had with them.

Wow that's kind of harsh. We added their products (with RocketTheme's Tachyon) to our current project and we're happy with the results. The feature set of MyBlog and JomComment is adequate.
I like JoomlaFacebookChat for our JomSocial site. It's free and has a limited set of the CometChat product features.
