Maelstrom Template Install Help

Hi Forum,
I just downloaded Maelstrom for Joomla. I am wondering how to get started with the install? I .zip'ed the file and tried to upload and am getting an error saying it cannot find the Joomla XML Setup file?
Please advise. Much thanks.

I've tried both the root bundle labeled .... "rt_maelstrom_j16-bundle"
and also the file labeled... "rt_maelstrom_j16"
those seemed to be the most logical ones to zip and upload but neither worked.
i appreciate the help

First make sure that the tgz/zip file is untouched by the browser.
After that, try installing the Gantry framework first and then the template. - Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.

Hi.
I have a similar problem.
I have a clean Joomla 1.6 install, but when i try to upload the rt_malestrom_J16-bundle.zip I just get a "Error uploading File" message.

- Could be a server setting. Can you check anything that relates to maximum file, upload and memory size in php.ini and report back?

Seems it was related to PHP file upload size - which needed to be increased.
