Really? For the entire site? Are there any example sites that you know of? I can see it for the header and footer, but there are no examples of it in being transparent in the main body.

I did some more digging and it looks like Zephyr is built on transparency, so that should work!
Transparency lays at the heart of the Zephyr theme, with the entire theme being developed around it. Every structural image is transparent to allow background colors to bleed through seamlessly.
Preset 10 is the best example of this, with the background bleeding through.

I'm using the Zephyr theme. I want to put a custom background image at the top (like the paint-splats) but still use a transparent texture over the main background color running down the rest of the page (as in Grunge-1). Can I do this best by just creating the entire background image in Photoshop and uploading to my images/backgrounds folder? What would be the final pixel dimensions of such an image? Is there a better way to do this?
Of course, I'm fighting a deadline... Thanks in advance for your reply.
