I'm in search for a commenting or blogging system to put on my site.
www.theclarion.org
My goal is to let people comment or blog about the news stories that we have on our site. For an example of what I am looking for check out : www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/...7403&in_page_id=1770
It doesn't have to be exactly like that but, I would like for them to be able to comment with or without signing up.

what you're looking for is jomcomment, available at
www.azrul.com
there is also akocomment, which you can find at extensions.joomla.org, but i have not had any experience with it. - Say no to Internet Explorer 6.

- If you are looking for a great free commenting system go with AkoComment Tweaked Special Edition if you are looking for a paid version and don't mind developers copyright below the page go with J!Reactions (you are not allowed to remove the copyright) However since you have SMF forum why not use SMF Discussbot
