It Won't Slide Open?

I posted this in RokNavMenu yesterday but got no answer and I could do with one a.s.a.p
If I have a menu let's say:
Main article
- page 1
- page 2
- page 3
I want the page 1, 2 , 3 to slide open on the menu bar after I hover over the "Main article" part as you might expect.
I then create a roknav module and assign it to the subnavigation. Ok cool.
How do you get the sub menu parts (page 1 - 3) to slide open rather than just have an arrow next to "Main Article" which doesn't open at all?
