Yesy, I've downloaded and installed the CuteFTP Pro version, and I think is more fast and graphic friendly than Filezilla, I'll test it for a month before buy it.
I recently traded Filezilla for Winscp. There are some thing in the interface and usability that have been bugging me.
I think winscp is more like Cuteftp if you liked it.
I use filezilla but it has two things that irritate me. One is the absence of an automatic directory refresh after a file has been uploaded. The other is the inability to do a directory compare between two remote folders. You can do it between a local and remote folder so o would have expected this functionality. Anyone know if the other clients do this?

Cute FTP for me since V2, now using v8.
I was using Filezilla for a time , but i got some bugs like when copy or move documents the directory doesn't refresh. So I want to try CuteFTP, Are you using what version? Home, Pro, or Lite?
I've been using CuteFTP Pro for a while now. My main reason for using this versus some of the others is the built in editor.
It saves me a step when editing files online.
I'm looking for a good ftp client for windows, by your experience, what is the best ? .. I'm using Windows 7 64bits
I use Ipswitch WS_FTP, and it works well for me. I've used it through several versions and I like all of the extra functionality. I am also on Windows 7 - 64 bit.

It uses whichever editor that you have associated with that file extension on your computer. If you use DreamWeaver to edit HTML files, then it will open those files with DreamWeaver. Of course, this is redundant since DreamWeaver has its own FTP capability.
I rarely edit anything from my FTP utility, but when I do, this is exactly what I want it to do.
