Hello everyone
I have a problem when I want to edit a profile registered with joomla 1.6.4, template tachyon. When I click on edit profile I put a blank page.
Here is the error

No, I'm preparing my site locally.
I tested on another server locally and have always the same error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function init() on a non-object in E:\wamp\www\MPCDC refonte\templates\rt_tachyon_j16\html\com_users\profile\edit.php on line 21

Ok well I've taken a look around (as I know nothing about php) your request seemed urgent so thought I'd do my best. The only other thing I can see is that there are a number of Gantry related issues similar to yours when an extension has been installed that causes this error.
My advice would be to bump this topic around six hours and hopefully one of the techs will answers it for you.
Also if this is happening after a fresh install without any mods there's a bug and needs to be solved.
FYI - Many of the people who can deal with this for you won't be on till later in the day, i.e. US time.

Ok thank you.
I just did a fresh install with joomla 1.63 and the template with no tachyon module and it works.
I do not understand! I will install extensions tachyon and see if the problem continues.

Sorry didier, just checking,
so you've installed Joomla and added the tachyon template afterwards, is that right? Also you say ''tachyon module'' which module is that?
Not entirely sure what you mean, but if its what I think, have you tried using Rocketlauncher, it comes with the extensions, modules and plugins pre-installed and should mean you don't have any errors.

Would note though that there doesn't appear to be a Rocket Launcher version for 1.6 it may simply be a compatibility issue or an installation error. If this were me I'd opt for Tachyon Joomla 1.5 instead which will solve this issue.
Otherwise wait for further advice.

I have no problem with Tachyon RocketLauncher J15. Everything worked very well at that time!
The problem now is that joomla 15 will no longer be maintained not the joomla community. Joomla15 limit is there more changes.
Now it joomla1.6 especially joomla 1.7 which is soon to be replaced by joomla 1.8.
My site is a professional and will need security patches for the maintenance of joomla. It why I can not stay with joomla 1.5
I completely redo my site with joomla 1.6 and the template and tachyon gantry course. That's why I say I will install the extension for tachyon joomla 1.6. (Rocknamenu, roktabs, roknewpager etc. ..)
RocketTheme makes more RocketLauncher Joomla 1.6, it's a shame it was easier. Now you have to install joomla1.6 RocketTheme template + + extension J16 and now we find it much more difficult overall.
