    ecwid and different templates

Posted 13 years 8 months ago
    • I'm looking for a new template to get my retail site back up along with a shopping cart. I've read a couple of thread here involving ecwid and that seems like a good choice as I want to be able to use my choice of template and then add in the shopping cart extension. am i correct in thinking that ecwid will integrate with at least the newer templates here, i.e. the magento series, camber or entropy?

      Thanks
      Dee

    • Hi, they should integrate in terms of operation. Only the Mercado template has built in styles for Ecwid, while the others do not - you may have to add CSS styling to any other template, or copy the Ecwid styling from Mercado into the template of your choice. Most likely the other templates will just have a default styling, you would have to try them to see for sure.

    • I use the rokecwid extention on 2 rok templates. I actually like the default look. After much research, ecwid is the best choice in my opinion.
