Speeding up BentoBox

I used it on one of my sites and it doubled my load times. Did you read the instructions on installing the component? It seemed pretty easy to set up.

Not much to say about the component. The whole site went crazy after installing. Text was everywhere a.s.o. Doubt it's wrong with the installation but I will try again.
I don't think it's my hosting. We're running on own servers and we have other sites that works just fine. I will try to change to another template though, just to see what happens.

I never understood people who keep it a "secret". For Pete's sake, it's on the Internet. How much of a "secret" do you think it is? Waiting for it to become "official" still?
Asking for help in a public forum then not posting what site you need help with doesn't make much sense.

But if I get rid of them I can't use JCE for instance, or the built-in litebox.
Isn't that meant to be used ?
I've disabled it but that doesn't seem to work. I have to get rid of them (uninstall) ?

Firefox 2 - lots of waiting time, around 20 secs on a 8mbit connection.
IE 7 - Instant loaded around 1 sec.
I have seen this on other Joomla sites as well - loading takes ages in FF but instant in IE. Not sure what it is though.
