    K2 & Momentum conflicting

Posted 13 years 6 months ago
    • Hi Guys.
Ok so got a couple of CSS conflicts between momentum and K2.
The issues are only around front-end editing of K2 articles.

When adding/editing a content via the front end, the popup window background is grey which looks awful, i can edit this via K2.css and make it white, easy.

But the Published radio buttons have disappeared completely!
A quick look with firebug and it shows that the style is throwing it left: -1000.

So its not gone, its just set to -1000px to the left :S

Im not sure where this is being generated but im struggling to get around it to show them absolute and left:0px.

Is gantry set to hide checkboxes -1000 left?
Is it something written within Joomla doing this?

      Any help?

    • Hi,

Under input styling, have you tried excluding the rok inputs javascript file from appending the rokinputs class to the elements on the k2 form?

      i.e. add class .adminFormK2 to:

      screencast.com/t/siLrosDhPloe

    • Hi Adamck & Tyndie

Please can you tell me if your website is using J1.7 or 1.5?

I am using Momentum Rocketlauncher on J1.7 and cannot get K2 to work on frontend (edit item / Add new item). I've created many websites using J1.5 and K2 with no problems so thought it could be J 1.7.

If you could let me know that would really help thanks.

    • Im using 1.7 Joomla for some sites and 1.5 for others, got K2 on them all :)

The pop-up worked fine for me, just needed to stop the CSS messing up the style for K2, which was done above :)

    • Hi Adamck thanks that's good to know it should be working!

And Henning thanks very much - your tip worked hooray!

I changed 'Build Titles Spans' to OFF under the Advanced tab and now K2 works no problem.

      :D
