Removing RT copyright from within CSS/PHP files?

  • Removing RT copyright from within CSS/PHP files?

    Posted 13 years 5 months ago
    • Hi there!

      I know this is kind of an odd question, but I was wondering what RT's thoughts are with regards to customers removing the RT copyright notice within CSS and PHP files from RT templates. Basically, we're trying really hard to keep our codes very minimal for easy and efficient editing. Our website will have many people working on it at a time, so it's our wish to keep codes really simple and thus removing anything from these codes that we aren't going to need. Since RT's text takes up a large chunk of the codes, we were wondering whether we could remove it.

      Thanks!

      e.g., from the template folder:

      /**

      * @author RocketTheme www.rockettheme.com

      You can turn of branding through the template manager in the latest templates (and the older ones, too.)

    • Can I get a little more clarity on this?

      I see (and agree with) that according to your terms, I am required to leave the copyright intact in the xml files but is it okay to remove them in the css files?
