    Affinity questions

Posted 13 years 5 months ago
    • I realize affinity is pretty old, but the drag-ability appeals to me. I was wondering if there is a more modern template then Affinity?
the key things that appeal to me about this template is shown in this photo

I'll be using joomla 1.7 if thats a concern. That image got cut off so here's a better one http://screencast.com/t/AfBJui2m

    • well, maybe asking one question in a weeks time is not enough.. lets add another.
is it possible to put modules and such in the menu like you can do with megamenu?

    • Hi, Affinity is the only template we offer with drag-able modules. In order to use the features of the the fusion mega menu, you'll need to use a template that supports those features, as this one does not.
    • The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.

    • Since 2.5 hasn't been released yet, we can't make guarantees about when or if that will be available.

    • At this time, nothing is slated for 2.5, we can't do anything until it is released as we don't know what needs to be done. As with any upgrade our themes will most likely follow suit. Beyond that I just don't have any information to give you.

    • ok fair enough... the SVN is in a huge state of flux right now so it's totally understandable.
Thanks for helping me make my decision

    • Has any decision been about Affinity for 2.5? Really love the look and feel of the template, as well as the draggable modules -- but more committed to keeping my Joomla current. Would like to know before I renew my membership.

    • All of the 1.7 compatible templates should work with 2.5 at this time. We are still ironing out details due to the recent release of 2.5. I would recommend trying on a backup or test server before making changes to your live site.
