    Install ROK modules, they don't show in Module Manager

    • My development site: Joomla 2.5.1, Clarion template, downloaded today (9-2-2012) with extensions. For example: Install mod_rokstories_J16.zip, installation shows successful, but it does not show in Module Manager. Same thing happens with any ROK module I have tried to install. Am I missing something?

    • Joomla-1.6 {deprecated} and Joomla 1.7 and Joomla 25 are different than Joomla-1.5.
      In 1.5 you would see your module in the Module Manager "Select Type" dropdown right after installing the module extension.
      In 1.7 you first must create a new module from the newly installed module extension and then you can see it in the Module Manager "Select Type" dropdown.
