I''ve been chasing a problem for the past two days with IE 9, where thumbnails to videos in my site weren't linking to the videos and getting weird wrapping of content. It only happened on IE 9, Firefox and Chrome on both windows and linux is fine. I turned off the sites cache, cleared it, cleared IE 9's cache everytime and still the problem persisted, also turned off Gantry's cache.
I thought i might have been a template problem, so i tried templates from the default joomla, joomla art, RT older non Gantry template.
I eventually tried the Joomla 1.5 version of the modulus template that was still in the site since i migrated from 1.5->1.7->2.5 and got an error. Then i switched back to the new modulus template and now the site looks as its supposed to.. which i find absolutely bizzare-- I'm not sure if the Gantry cache expired or the switch to an older template etc. causing something to reset.

- My wild guess would be that after the upgrade process you didn't clear cache and that leaded to the bad results you experienced. It is very hard to tell you anything better than that unfortunately

- i actually did clear the cache after each subsequent upgrade, i had some problems with a few components that made me do it, i had to do a few site restores using akeeba to get it done right- purging the cache everytime was pretty much manditory. While testing the pages i always clear it also, Joomla & Gantry cache have been turned off to make development easier.
