  • Joomla 2.5 rocketlauncher?

    • Less than a month ago I finished building a site with a Joomla 1.7 rocketlauncher, then today I was looking around for a template for another site I want to build for myself. I think I've settled on reflex, but I haven't been around in the past month and now see that only 1.5 or 2.5.1 are available as rocket launchers.. Is 2.5 stable right now? I feel like I've just gotten done learning 1.7 and now I'm being forced to change to 2.5. Is there a way to still get 1.7 or is it really worth it to make the switch?

    • All I can tell you is that early adopters take the biggest risks in the beginning but if it pans out then they are rewarded earlier than latecomers.

      J2.5 had some issues but J2.5.1 seems to be the stable version to go for.
      As it stands now most of our Rok Extensions are without issue in J2.5.1, pre-eminently RokStories and RokGallery.

    • Im running 2.5.1 and happy with it, not had any issues with K2 or any Rok extensions so far :)

      Im impressed by it, and i like its easy version updater thing too :)
