    • If you are receiving memory limit errors please look at this post here: www.rockettheme.com/forum/index.php?f=52..._v=viewtopic#p688181 and see if that solves your issue.
      Also it really isn't the actual size of the image it is the size of the image file itself, two images that are the same size to view could have very different file sizes. For instance if the more pixels per square inch the bigger the the file, some file types like png when not flattened can be very large.
      I know that wp tends to have a small memory limit out of the box and when using a large plugin that processes large files like rokgallery you will probably need to increase that.
      JSON errors are most likely due to another plugin printing errors to screen, I have seen this before. Since JSON just retrieves whatever is output, if the expected output includes unexpected strings or html, it causes it to break. THere really isn't anyway around this, its just the way AJAX works. Try deactivating other plugins to insure that the JSON error is not caused by another plugins errors.

      UPDATE: Seems it wasn't fixed, Rokgallery took the site down again *sigh* All I did was alter the image titles and try to remove one of their tags in the back end.

      That post seems to link to a fix pending implementation over 6 months ago... surely implemented by now.
      90% of my plugins are from Rockettheme. Tried disabling all others, no effect.
      And I'm not sure what image vs file size has to do with it?

    • OKay... now ALL the widgets for the frontpage setting are gone... the site now looks bare,
      and I sure as hell didn't do it!

      Emergency help required!!

      UPDATE: Hastily rebuilt the missing widgets from my backup, but even so, the styling looks off...

      I just tried to upload the images to your site again, still without any issues - I have uploaded 3 different images and left them unpublished in your Gallery Admin as a proof. I didn't get any invalid JSON response or 0% error. What browser are you using ? RokGallery shouldn't affect your widgets at all, I also haven't touched them, did you make any steps that could lead to make them dissappear ? Also please send me the images that you're trying to upload and I'll check if I'm able to upload them by myself.

    • I took no steps to make them disappear as I only changed items on RokGallery itself as far as I know.

      Even with the widgets restored, the styling is still off, as I have left for you to see.



      Just tried once again putting in a Gallery (Photos) into the Showcase Position on the front page, breaking the site (in that lovely way that RokGallery would do if I had no gallery selected)
      EDIT: Show an error; " Uncaught exception: Unable to find Link Type page "
      I've tried various link types with RokGallery, didn't seem to matter



      I uploaded a small image just fine,
      but when I tried to upload a larger (3k) image, I get the following

      "0% - Memory size limited by Suhosin. The suhosin.memory_limit setting needs to be adjusted"



      This all worked just dandy on my own server, and on my client preview server, so I assume this is something to do with the environment. However, at 64mb for memory, I don't see that as out of the ordinary, or everyone would be having problems surely.



      UPDATE: Okay, by making files the exact size of the gallery, and making the file size under 200k each, with no links. it will work. Changing any of those three seems to break it...

      The error 'suhosin.memory_limit' means that there's not enough memory image to process such large images - this value would have to get incrased as the bigger images are the more memory needs to be used to process them ie. add to gallery, create slices etc.

      The RokGallery widget shouldn't break your site at all - in the worst case simply display badly. Is everything going back to normal once you remove it ? Do you have any gallery pages created, or are you simply using the widget without any gallery pages ?

      I have never heard, or been told, of this memory limit till now. Is this the same as the PHP memory limit? Where is this minimum requirement listed for RokGallery?

      How nice to get five replies from three different staff members in one day.

      I downloaded the site to my local server, which originally uploaded the images in question without a problem, which now shows the same errors as the live site.

      Have sent email to host re same.



      By 'break the site' I mean the site falls apart into a useless mess with no CSS etc.
      For example, here is a screen shot I set from using the SAME gallery as online, but adding a link to the slice link section of any of the images.
