They are different from other mod positions. The widths are calculated automatically based on the width of the main body-(content)-area. For example if you have mb-6 and have modules in content top-a and content top-b both will get a width of 3 (3+3=6)...
And where might I find "features" like this documented; to identify when some "automatic" activity countermands every effort to impose structure? Two cases I'm wrestling presently:
1. Graffito sidebar-a, sidebar-b mixing modules one or both around mainbody and have seemingly no consistent control of Templates Manager/Edit Style/Layouts/MainBody Positions. Sometimes does, sometimes doesn't save my settings. Why would sidebars show at all if no position is defined to hold the content?
2. "Positions" slider and "Position Count" operate inconsistently, in my case when I choose to use 5 utility positions (a-e) or (a, c-f), or 6 utility positions (a-f).
