Template and Menus

    • I am posting this here because I don't think it is related to a specific template. It is more my inability to figure out why and nothing to do with the template I am using. So with that being said...

I am having problem getting my templates and Menu to work.

I am putting together a National Site that each state has it's own color scheme and menu. Which means I am using the same template (Halcyon) but the header has a different color and will have a different Rokgallery of pictures. It will also have a different menu, well the menu names are the same but it direct the user to a different page depending on what state they are in.

When going to the index page of the main site there is a map that will send the user to the state he clicks on. However it doesn't. When I click on Arizona (which is the 1st state that I am setting up) it takes me to the Arizona home page but I have the national header (which is black) and the menu for the main site. It really should take me to a Blue header and should be showing the arizona menu.

In the Template manager under the arizona template I have the correct pages select in the Assignment tab

In properties in each page I have the correct Menu location and Template style selected.

I know I am missing something really simple but for the life of me I don't know what it is.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what I am missing?

    • Actually I am using a RT Template. Both the main page and the Arizona area are using Halcyon, the difference I changed the color of the header. I duplicated the template naming the one I changed color to Arizona. Sorry I should have sent a link in the last post.
www.azinfoguide.net . To get a better understanding to what I am trying to do go to www.bikerinformationguide.com . I am switching the site over from HTML / CGI scripts to Joomla. (Should have done it sooner)
      The Joomla version is 2.5.2
I am using Firefox version 11.0 and I have tried in IE 9
I could not find anything inside the template that mentioned Compression
I did not have RokGZipper plugin installed.

      Thanks for helping,
      Dave
