Menu Drop Downs do not Work with IE and Windows XP

I have a problem with a company intranet site I am developing using Joomla 2.5 and the Rockettheme template where the drop down menus do not appear on computers running Windows XP SP3 and IE8. Those same computers running Firefox will display the drop down menus properly. Also, Computers running Windows 7 and IE8 also can display the menu normally. With the XP clients, you only see the parent menu and when you hoover over it, it does not reveal the rest of the menu items from that parent menu. Can anyone help me with this problem? I am not using cache mode or the RokGzipper module either.
Additional information: I am using the Fusion Menu and have enable JavaScript = On
I also receive the following errors on page when using IE:

- Solved - Looked like the issue was with the group policy in our company that forced compatibility view with Internet Explorer, Once I disabled the compatibility mode, the menus work normally.
