Rocket Tutorials site hanging/slow...why?

Hi partners, The past few days when (every time though) I go to the tutorials site the page(s) just shudder inch by inch down as I try to scroll. I tried using the "down arrow" on my keyboard but still the same, if I click a burst of 5-6 clicks I need to wait for 10 seconds while the page moves little by little. All the rest of the rockettheme site works fast and smooth as do all my other surfing ,its only on the tuts.
As anyone who helps me on the forum knows only to well (James has been doing a sterling job with me recently) I need to be visiting the tutorials often ;D
Any ideas what might be wrong?

Strange. Could you please give one or two urls of pages on which this occurs ?
Of the top of my head, sometimes this can be caused by a virusscanner. Try disabling this wile visiting the tutorials section (don't forget to turn it back on !) and see if this makes a difference. - I use simplix, does this mean that I'm a simple guy ?

Another thing that happens when I go to these pages is my computer seems to begin overworking straight away, I mean by that, the fan on my laptop starts whirling (maybe this is a Irish saying ;D). As soon as I move off the tut pages all back to normal again....strange.
I will try turning off my antivirus if there is no clear answer but I'm worrying I might get an unwanted visitor
so I'll hold fire on that for a day or so.

- Not a problem here. This might also be a spyware problem, or a plugin in your browser, ...

Your pc has to have the latest components and about 2GB of RAM to run the tutorial site grace2much. sad, but true. i ventured there once, and then promptly left and have not gone back. hopefully it is converted to a more user-friendly template sometime soon
