    Layout problems

Posted 17 years 8 months ago
    • Hello,
I would like to use module positions on the home page only and not with every content Item.
I'd like to have modules presenting content on the home page, but not repeating them with every article.
I see you can do it with static content, but I'd like to organize my content with sections and categories.
      Any solutions?
I hope I've been clear enough.
      Thanks
      Simone

    • goto module manager, select your module and on the right you will see a box with menu items in which you can select to display your modules in. Default is "all." Choose "Home" to display those modules only on the home-page. You can select multiple individual pages by holding down the ctrl key and left clicking.

    • Thanks Robert,
I had already tried it. But if I make a module on the home page linking to an article, the article is shown in mainbody so I continue to see all of the home page's modules...

    • Do you not navigate away from your main page while reading articles?

      could you provide a link?

    • If it were me... I would start from scratch! You installed the RocketLauncher version and you have tons of demo content published. What you can do is put a check-mark next to "module name" and then click "unpublish." Do this for everything except what you want to appear on the frontpage. Then edit each module and select what link and what position you want your modules to appear.

      Good Luck!
