As Daniel pointed-out below, there are more than 5,000 members, if they were all on Pro membership, Rockettheme
would make US$ 1,250,000 per annum.
what about staff costs, hosting costs, development costs, travel, general expenses (that can't be claimed back as it's your own company) and lets not forget the tax man

    • I would hazard less than 5% of that were pro members.

And while even then that's good money for a person, it's only 'getting out of the danger zone' for a business for the reasons Damo points out.

    • "US$ 1,250,000 per annum" I think RT spends more than that on muffins for James.

I don't have any problem at all with the level of support. If you factor in what you pay for against what you get, it's a bargain. If you haven't noticed, quite a few people get support for non-template issues here.

I think this is probably the strongest Jommla community there is. I've never seen so many people willing to help anywhere else.

    • i agree RT forums has got to be the best joomla related community on the net (And yes thats including Joomla.org)

      the reason?

everyones willing to help if they can (even non RT related problems)

and if they cant (its usually a harder question) then normally an RT member of staff will answer.

could you imagine a support ticket system would be like

      "how do i install" X 1000

when they simply could have read the sticky

    • I might add that I recently joined the Joomlart community for a year. I've been so spoiled here that the first day of using their forum was a huge let down. I will not renew. The support on the forum is terrible, cold and impersonal. What a difference it is here at the best Joomla community ever.

    • I will have to say that this IS the best forum to get support, and I mean support of all kinds. I have had my a$$ saved numerous times here and hung out to dry in other forums. I give James, Mike, and every other member here kudos on the support they help with everyone. I am actually signing up for the pro member next week. I might not like and use every template that comes out, but the help in the forums has been a blessing.

That's my 2 cents of it. The support here is better than ANY where else.
