Theme preferences only applied to frontpage

Hi all,
Since a couple of hours the theme-preferences of our Clarion-theme is only applied to the frontpage. The theme itself is applied to all pages but we changed the color (by setting the option in Template Manager) and those options are not applied to all pages.
To be precise: we changed in rt_clarion - Home in menu Style the MainColor to #006663. This worked fine until this afternoon.
If we change the whole preset from Light to Dark however, than that is applied correctly. We also had changes to the background in background.css to make the background completely white. I checked the CSS-file and it is still correct, but only the front-page is white.
Maybe it has something to do with caching, since I did clear it. Also I had disabled some Modules that we don't use (but I enabled those and it didn't solve the problem). Further I tried to solve it by disabling all SEO-settings and removing the .htaccess-file. Nothing solves my problem....

I just solved it myself. Somehow you always find the answer, just after you posted the question
The theme exists of 3 files (default and 2 overrides). One override (the one we changed) was only assigned to the Home-menu. We did not change this but I think we trashed some demo-menuitems that were inactive, but bound to the main-menu and the template was assigned to them.
So, solution was simple: Templates Manager > edit Template > Assignments > select all
