Strange caching problem with registered users

I have been having this issue for over a year and still have not found a solution. The site does not have a lot of traffic so I can simply turn off caching and that fixes the problem but when there is heavy traffic it throws a flag at the hosting company and they shut the site down until i turn it back on.
I am having the same problem as what is being stated here in the Joomla Forums and as you can see, the thread is over a year old and there is no solution. Hoping someone here has a solution.
