Custom Pattern does not work

Hi there,
As you know new years is approaching, I want to change the patterns on my website.
I have made my own pattern (.png) and copied under
/public_html/templates/rt_crystalline/images/overlays/patterns
I have then saved it template manager/sytles/overlay
(I can see the custom made overlay, please see the attachment)
But it does not appear on the live website. Am I doing something wrong here?
What is the image format/properties for patterns?
Joomla 2.5.8
rt_crystalline
Edit: I can see all the other patterns when I change it (grunge elegant etc.)

Hi there,
Without a link to page where the problem is on your site it is quite hard for us to provide the best solution due to so many variables. We try to provide file names and line numbers for code changes and if changes have already been made then our advice may be incorrect.
Can you please post a link to the problem and we will do our best to assist you.

Hi there,
I am guessing J2.5 so please go to template admin > features and ensure that Overlay Check is set to ON.
If this resolves your problem then please edit your first post in this thread by adding SOLVED at the start of the title and then select the green tick icon. This lets the moderators know that it can be moved to the solved section.
