SOLVED How does Gantry save menu item template overrides?

Occasionally my menu item overrides reset for no apparent reason and module positions start to collide.
I didn't notice any difference in the template params.ini file.
How/where are the overrides saved? - "The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it."

Which Joomla version are you referring to ???
Joomla 25 and 30 store all such parameters in the DataBase now.
Save a copy of your DB when the site is good and then compare it to the version when you have collisionivitis. Could be something happening at your DB server.

Glad 2+ = DB.
