Demo Install Fresco 404 errors

Hi,
I haven't installed a Joomla site in a while and was wanting to use the Fresco template for a new site. I don't remember this set of issues coming up in the past but I haven't really used Joomla since 1.5. The new site is found at www.chattpanhellenic.com . I installed the Fresco demo to get an idea of what's what.
Two issues.
1. When I created a new article and made it a featured article in the showcase and in the blog module on the FP and click on the links to them the page shows but it looks similar to a page where all the css has been stripped out.
2. When I try to click on the links in the menu that should take me to the demo pages I get a 404 error.
Can someone tell me what I have done incorrectly so that when I go to put the actual site together I don't have the same issues?
