Rokcommon breaks Joomla 2.5.9 > 3.0.3 update?

Trying to update my Joomla 2.5.9 to the latest 3.0 is unsuccessful. The backend gives:
The service definition "logger" does not exist
And the fontend gives:
Error displaying the error page: JHtmlBehavior::mootools not found.
All extensions are up to date before the joomla update.
After some digging I think I pinned down the problem to Rokcommon. Trying to disable the library (and Roksprocket, Rokgallery) did not solve the problem. But if I uninstall roksprocket, rokgallery and rokcommon, then the upgrade works.
Is this a known problem?

Hello Igor,
rokgallery: 2.17
rokcommon: 2.6.5
roksprocket: 1.6.1
I was able to make the update by disabling all rockettheme extensions. Then the update works but reenabling the extensions brings the same problem. I had to reinstall roksprocket, rokgallery, gantry to make it work.
Problem I am facing now is a frontpage error message: Error 500! JHtmlBehavior::mootools not found.
Probably I have to reinstall the theme? (Kirigami in this case)

The mootools problem came from rokminievents and rokbox. Disabling them brought back the frontend.
Without those, should I be able to update from 2.5 to 3 without any problem?

I honestly don't know because I never tried to update from 2.5 to 3
