Exporting from Lightroom to Rok Gallery

Hello
I'm new to using Joomla/Rok gallery. I'm helping out a client so am a bit unfamiliar with these platforms. I use Adobe Lightroom for my image database and main raw processor. I keyword images within Lightroom and save the metadata to the file. I was wondering how to streamline my workflow a bit.
My client has created Galleries with certain tags pointing to a specific Gallery. I key-worded within Lightroom using these tags so that I wouldn't need to add tags once I've uploaded my images to the Rok Gallery but this didn't seem to work and no tags are seen.
Is what I am attempting to do possible? Does anyone have suggestions?
