Ok, I just noticed I there is a newer version of my template (Elemental) out. This version makes it easy to disable RokZoom.
After searching I finally found that you have to install it as a new template. So when I tried to simply install it as a new template Joomla gives an error - there is already a template by that name. I am guessing I have to create a new directory under templates and manually upload the template files (not the compressed file) to the new directory and update the template name in the "templatedetails.xml file as well as the thumbnail image path. Is this correct? Is there anything else I should do?

just point to the /templates folder using ftp client and delete the old folder. Then reinstall the newer version.

Robert,
I should have said there was some custom edits that I wanted to save until I could make the same edits on the new template. Also, I had changed the graphics too. I guess I could have brought the old template and associated files down locally first the deleted the folder. It would have certainly been easier! ;D

Asuuming you are talking modified template graphics...
Download your templates /images folder and save it locally. Now delete the folder. Install new version of template. Now, upload your custom graphics overwriting the stock images. - "Everyone has to get knocked-down every once-in-a-while, otherwise you'll never learn how to get-back-up!

Hi there !
I just tried to install the rokzoom-mambot into versatility III - template.
But i got the error - message:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class canvascrop in .../mambots/content/rokslimbox/imagehandler.php on line 21
Is there a javascript-conflict? - CSS-design without firebug is like joomla without rockettheme

- Seems like you have another module/plugin/etc running that is also trying to use it's own copy of imagehandler.php

- Do you have an example ? What sort of module do you mean ? I`m using the v3 - template with only one component installed : Pony GalleryML . There are no additional Modules installed. Its the Package from your Club-Templates-Download Area - nothing else.

O.k. I've just unpublished the slimbox mambot, deleted the slimbox-related commands in the template's index.php, and installed the rokzoom-mambot but there is still the same error-message. Do i have to uninstall the slimbox-mambot completely from the v3-site in order to get the rokzoom-mambot starting to work without any conflict ??????

I've deleted the Slimbox-Mambot, installed the rokzoom-mambot and published it.
But only the built in slimbox-option seems to work.
The rokzoom-option doesn't work how it should. If i select the rokzoom-option the pictures appear in a new blank site.
Confusing !!!
After that i took a look at the newer templates with rokzoom integration. Why are there additional commands in the index.php in the header ? They open the rokzoom.css in the templates/.../rokzoom - folder !?! And the rokzoom.js in the templates/.../js - folder !?! - Last Edit: 17 years 2 months ago by Dirk Perner.
