    • I did see another thread about this, but it was unresolved, and the gentlemen who attempted to help was a little off-topic and didn't seem to understand the concern, so rather than resurrect an old thread, I thought it best to start my own.

      NOTE: this is not a concern specific to my installation. I am using the Graffito template at this point, but it is handled this way right out of the box.

      I do not have a site to show as it is private at this point, but it is exactly the same issue that the other poster experienced.

      When you don't have a home menu item, such as in my case since I hid it, a mobile device will use a select / spinner box to navigate, and the first menu item will be selected. Again, that is not the home page.

      This causes the menu item highlighted by default to not be selectable, unless you first navigate to a different page, and then select the previously non-selectable menu item.

      I realize I could likely create a separate menu for mobile, but I think that is a "hack" rather than actually knowing how to fix this issue, since it would result in more to maintain.
      Worst case, if that is the only way to resolve this issue, how would a menu be specified as mobile only?

      Of course, my hope is to find a way to have a menu item set to mobile only.

      EDIT: Wow, this is getting many views, but no assistance.
      Ok, so if what I am asking can't be done, how do I implement a mobile only menu that will work? It would seem more straight forward if I was just working with menus and assigned modules, but Gantry has you pick which module to set to the fusion menu and there is no option for mobile. Is this something you plan on implementing later? Please help.

      Honestly I'm not sure exactly what you mean because I don't think I've seen that behavior before. I guess I don't need to see you site but can you explain how to replicate the problem? If I start with a new installation of Graffito, what do I do next? It may seem simple to you but it would help me to see exactly what's going on.
