- I happen to be gearing up for a phpBB3 conversion myself. Since I'm using an RT template and will be using many of the Rocketwerx goodies, it would bring me a certain sense of comfort to convert around the same time RT did.

Well i don't think James was trying to be rude.. simply put, they are probably waiting for the RocketWerx bridge to be completed, and switching a big forum like this is no easy task, so there are most likely no set dates yet. - Billy Zoellers

And I find that, although obviously hypothetical, to be a much more palatable response than "when we're ready".

Hello Trent,
Yes, I'm sure James was just trying to be jovial and make light, text is horrible for conveying "context" sometimes
We are planning to switch to phpbb3 for our forums as part of a major redesign of RocketTheme software under the hood, and at this point there are several other bits that still need worked out in addition to the phpbb3 solutions before we move everything over. So unfortunately I don't really have a specific "timetable" I can give you as to when this will all take place and go live, but we will definitely let everyone know as we get closer to release.

Like most things here, it is difficult to give a solid deadline apart from the Monthly releases for obvious reasons
