IE 11 drop down Menu not displaying

HI,
I have replicant 2 on my site with Joomla 2.5 and JS 2.8.4.
I have a number of menus with drop down menus. In IE the drop down menus are dropping behind the template. In other words the menu bar is visible, when hovering for a drop menu, I can just see a small space between the menu bar and the rotator module where the banner is. In this small space I see part of the drop down menu so I know the menu is functioning correctly. This has only happened since IE upgraded to 11. It is not happening in Firefox or Chrome.

Without a link to page where the problem is on your site it is quite hard for us to provide the best solution due to so many variables. We try to provide file names and line numbers for code changes and if changes have already been made then our advice may be incorrect.

Hi David,
Of course...how stupid of me. Must have been a seniors moment.
The issue is happening in IE 11 so you will need to look at the site in IE. Firefox and Chrome work fine.

On the menu there is a drop menu for Home and Membership Services. If you look closely in the gap between the banner and the menu bar you can just see the drop downs background color of light green.

I am wondering if anyone can help with this. It is a real problem for IE users.
I have had Replicant for my site since the original in 2009. Would really like to get this fixed.
The drop down menus are working and have been since 2009, they are dropping behind the template banner. It seems IE 11 does not allow them to drop in front.
